Lydia T. Liu

Lydia T. Liu is a second year PhD student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, advised by Moritz Hardt and Michael I. Jordan. Previously, she obtained her BSE in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University. Lydia's research revolves around designing learning algorithms that have reliable and robust performance guarantees, and positive long-term societal impact. Her work has received a best paper award at the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) 2018.
