Apply to Participate
Senior researchers who would like to join one of our scheduled programs should contact the program organizers as early as possible. Alternatively, researchers may apply to become long-term visitors. Junior researchers may also apply for research fellowship in one of the programs.
Proposals for research programs and clusters are solicited from the worldwide theoretical CS community and may be submitted at any time; proposals are reviewed twice a year. To propose a program, see our current call for proposals and contact our associate director.
We also invite proposals for Breakthroughs Workshops and Goldwasser Exploratory Workshops. View the call for proposals.
Quantum Pod
Interested candidates should follow the instructions for the Quantum Pod's call for applications for postdoctoral researchers or visiting research scientists. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Machine Learning Pod
Interested candidates should follow the instructions for the Machine Learning Pod's call for applications for postdoctoral researchers.
Resilience Pod
Interested candidates should follow the instructions for the Resilience Pod's call for applications for postdoctoral researchers.

Frequently Asked Questions
A program is one-semester long gathering of about 40-50 invited long-term participants (a mix of senior and junior researchers) who spend at least one month (usually a semester) at the Institute. Programs are led by a small group of organizers who are recognized experts in their fields. A program usually includes three week-long workshops, each of which attracts an additional group of invited speakers and focuses on a different aspect of the program's scientific scope, as well as an initial "boot camp" designed to provide long-term participants with the same level of base knowledge.
