Join a Research Program or Cluster

Senior researchers who would like to join one of our scheduled programs should contact the program organizers as early as possible. Alternatively, researchers may apply to become long-term visitors. Junior researchers may also apply for research fellowship in one of the programs.

Propose a Program or Workshop

Proposals for research programs and clusters are solicited from the worldwide theoretical CS community and may be submitted at any time; proposals are reviewed twice a year. To propose a program, see our current call for proposals and contact our associate director.

We also invite proposals for Breakthroughs Workshops and Goldwasser Exploratory Workshops. View the call for proposals

Join a Research Pod

Quantum Pod
Interested candidates should follow the instructions for the Quantum Pod's call for applications for postdoctoral researchers or visiting research scientists. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

Machine Learning Pod
Interested candidates should follow the instructions for the Machine Learning Pod's call for applications for postdoctoral researchers.

Resilience Pod
Interested candidates should follow the instructions for the Resilience Pod's call for applications for postdoctoral researchers.

Attend a Workshop or Other Event

Register to participate in one of our upcoming workshops or public lectures. Everyone is welcome to attend the boot camp and workshops that are part of the program. We do not offer any funding for public registrants. Approximately six to eight weeks before the start of each semester, registration will open on the boot camp/workshop web pages. You're welcome to go and register at that time. Registration is free.

Apply for a Fellowship

Simons Institute Research Fellows are postdoctoral-level participants in an Institute research program.

Separately, applications are currently invited for postdoctoral positions in the research pods on Quantum Computing, on Machine Learning, and on Resilience
