The Foundations of Data Science Institute (FODSI), is an NSF-funded collaboration between UC Berkeley and MIT, partnering with Boston University, Northeastern University, Harvard University, Howard University and Bryn Mawr College. This multidisciplinary institute aims to improve our understanding of critical issues in data science — including modeling, statistical, computational, and societal issues — and their connections. The Simons Institute will play a key role in FODSI's activities, hosting research programs, summer schools, and workshops.
This retreat will be held virtually and in person at Calvin Lab by invitation. All talk times are in Pacific Time.
