Organizers: Matus Telgarsky (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; chair), Moritz Hardt (Berkeley), Sergey Levine (UC Berkeley), Aleksander Mądry (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Ohad Shamir (Weizmann Institute of Science)

This final workshop will serve two purposes. On one hand, it will survey some of the new, emerging challenges in deep learning: for example, fairness, interpretability, reinforcement learning, and privacy. On the other hand, this event will constitute a "capstone” of the program, aiming to support ongoing collaborations between program participants and industry visitors with an intent of sustaining their continuation beyond the program.

Further details about this workshop will be posted in due course. Enquiries may be sent to the organizers workshop-dl2 [at] lists [dot] simons [dot] berkeley [dot] edu (at this address).

Registration is required to attend this workshop. Space may be limited, and you are advised to register early. The link to the registration form will appear on this page approximately 10 weeks before the workshop. To submit your name for consideration, please register and await confirmation of your acceptance before booking your travel.
