Vir Bulchandani
Postdoctoral Researcher, Princeton University
Vir B. Bulchandani is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science. He obtained a BA in Mathematics and an MMath from the University of Cambridge in 2015, before receiving a PhD in Physics from UC Berkeley in 2020, where his thesis work won the Jackson C. Koo award in Condensed Matter.
His research program blends ideas from many-body quantum physics, non-equilibrium statistical mechanics and mathematics to propose new theories and applications for quantum devices. His current research interests include nonlocal games, measured random quantum circuits and ground-state approximation algorithms.
