Rad Niazadeh is a Motwani Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University, hosted by Tim Roughgarden, Ashish Goel and Amin Saberi. He obtained his PhD in theoretical computer science from Cornell University, where he was advised by Bobby Kleinberg. Prior to that, he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in electrical engineering form Sharif University of Technology in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Rad is the recipient of a Google PhD Fellowship in market algorithms (2016), and a Jacobs Scholar Fellowship (2011). His research interests include algorithms, game theory and learning. In particular, he is interested in algorithmic mechanism design, computational social choice, and online auctions.
