Jin Tian

Jin Tian is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University. He received his BS in Physics from Tsinghua University and PhD in Computer Science from UCLA. His research is in artificial intelligence and machine learning, focusing on causal inference and probabilistic graphical models. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Causal Inference, and has served as a Program Chair for the Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI) 2014 and as the General Chair for UAI 2015.
