Abstract
In this talk, we will discuss approaches to build functional encryption, and hence iO, from the Learning With Errors assumption. We will examine existing techniques, identify barriers and discuss possible ways forward. If time permits, we will discuss connections with the recent elegant notion of functional encodings by Wee and Wichs [WW20].
