Abstract
This talk is about Quantum Singular Value Transformation, which is a recently discovered common generalization of Grover search and quantum walks. This technique generalizes most linear algebraic quantum algorithms, and gives insights to quantum algorithms design. I will present applications ranging from Hamiltonian simulation and Gibbs state preparation to fast SDP solving and advanced quantum walks techniques.
