Abstract
Avinash heads Walmart's Mobile, Omnichannel and Discovery (Search/Product/Homepage) Engineering Team,
helping to build the future of Retail and eCommerce. Walmart is at the forefront of bridging the gap between the
physical and digital experience of shopping. Avinash’s teams have built WalmartPay—an in-store payment solutions,
Money Transfer and Pharmacy Express Refills experiences on the Walmart App, and ScanNGo—an app which lets
customers scan and pay for an item. All of these have been done at the Walmart scale supporting millions of
customers. His team has also built products that assist customers in various ways, helping them plan a store trip and
be smarter while shopping.
