Zvi Rosen

Florida Atlantic University

Zvi Rosen obtained his PhD in mathematics from UC Berkeley in 2015, advised by Bernd Sturmfels. Zvi's research interests lie in the intersection of combinatorics, commutative algebra, and algebraic geometry. In particular, he is currently exploring the combinatorics of independence structures in the function field of a variety. This work has applications in machine learning, algebraic statistics, and chemical reaction network theory.
