Graduate Student, National University of Singapore
Visiting Graduate Student
Program: Causality
Dates of Visit: Feb. 21Mar. 31, 2022

Yuhao Wang is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Arnab Bhattacharyy at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore on Artificial Intelligence and Causality. Between 2018 and 2020, funded by KPN, she worked as a researcher in Professor Mykola Pechenizkiy's group on the Deep Learning in Core and Edge project at the Eindhoven University of Technology. She received her master's degree under the supervision of Ivan Wang-Hei Ho at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and her bachelor’s degree in Electronics Science and Technology from Northwest University in China.

Yuhao is broadly interested in discovering causal structure from observational data leveraging modern machine learning methods; drawing valid causal conclusions from data is impeded by various factors, such as the presence of unmeasured confounders, missing data, and measurement error; estimating causal effects from finite samples.
