Yian Ma

Postdoctoral Researcher, UC Berkeley

Yian Ma is a postdoctoral scholar at UC Berkeley, hosted by Michael I. Jordan. He obtained his PhD from the University of Washington, working with Emily B. Fox in the statistics department and Hong Qian in the applied mathematics department. His research interest lies in the intersection of statistics and computation, specifically in scalable sampling methods for Bayesian inference.
