Xue Chen is a PhD student at University of Texas at Austin, advised by Prof. David Zuckerman. He received his BS from Tsinghua University. He is broadly interested in the use of randomness in computer science. His main research areas are the explicit constructions of pseudorandom generators, the design of randomized algorithms, and their derandomization.
