Xiuwei Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher in Sarah Teichmann's group at the EMBL-European Bioinformatics Institute. She obtained a PhD in computer science under the supervision of Bernard Moret, in the Laboratory for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in Switzerland. Her research interests include: 1. analysis and application of evolution of biological data such as biological networks and protein structures; and 2. method development and data analysis for RNA-Seq data and single-cell RNA-Seq data.
