Xiaoyu Chen is a postdoc at MIT, hosted by Prof. Kuikui Liu. He obtained his Ph.D. in the CS Theory Group at Nanjing University, where he was advised by Prof. Yitong Yin.
His research interests are in theoretical computer science. Currently, he focuses on Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods, which are widely used for approximate sampling and counting.
