Xiaolei Lu

Institute of Statistical Mathematics

Xiaolei Lu is a PhD student at the Institute of Statistical Mathematics at Sokendai in Tokyo, focusing on theoretical statistics and advised by Satoshi Kuriki. She received her bachelors degree in Mathematics and masters degree in Probability and Statistics from Northeast Normal University, where she pursued interests in the applications of Mathematics and Statistics. Her interest in Biostatistics and Computational Biology developed when she had the opportunity to study in Fudan University in 2014. Thereafter, she participated in a Bioinformatics training program at the University of Tokyo in 2015. Her interests also include High-Dimensional Data Analysis and Machine Learning.
