Wenshuo Guo

Graduate Student, UC Berkeley

Wenshuo is a PhD candidate in computer science at University of California, Berkeley, advised by Michael I. Jordan. She is affiliated with the Berkeley AI Research (BAIR), the CLIMB Center, and RISE Lab. She is supported by a Google Ph.D. Fellowship in Algorithms, Optimizations and Markets and a Berkeley Graduate Fellowship.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, optimization, statistics and mechanism design, in particular building machine learning systems that are more robust, equitable, and responsive to the evolving economic and social needs. Some areas she is interested in and have worked on include distributed and robust optimization, algorithmic fairness, online learning algorithms, auction and game theory, causal inference.
