Tongyang Li is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Computer Science, at the University of Maryland. In 2015, he graduated from Tsinghua University with a B.E. from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences, and a B.S. from the Department of Mathematical Sciences. His research focuses on quantum algorithms, including topics such as quantum machine learning, quantum query complexity, and quantum simulation.
