Seyoon Ragavan is a PhD student in the computer science department at MIT, advised by Vinod Vaikuntanathan. He is broadly interested in quantum algorithms, coding theory, and cryptography, with a particular focus on leveraging insights from algebra and number theory to improve the efficiency – both theoretical and practical – of algorithms and cryptographic protocols.
