Ricky Liu received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010 under the guidance of Alexander Postnikov. Following postdoctoral appointments at the University of Minnesota and the University of Michigan, he joined the faculty of North Carolina State University in 2014. His research interests lie in algebraic combinatorics, especially its relationship to algebraic and combinatorial geometry and representation theory.
