Richard Cole

Professor, New York University

Richard Cole is a Julius Silver, Roslyn S. Silver, and Enid Silver Winslow Professor of Computer Science at the Courant Institute, New York University. He received his BA in Mathematics from Oxford University in 1978 and his PhD in Computer Science at Cornell University, supervised by John Hopcroft, in 1982. Since then he has been on the faculty at NYU. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1988 and was named an ACM fellow in 1998. His research interests span algorithmic game theory, equilibria, dynamic behavior, and related algorithmic questions.
