Rafael Oliveira is an Assistant Professor at the Cheriton School of Computer Science, with a joint appointment in the Pure Math department at the University of Waterloo.
Rafael's research focuses on the connections between algebraic complexity theory, algebraic geometry, optimization and invariant theory, and their applications to other areas of mathematics and computer science.
