Quynh Nguyen

Graduate Student, Saarland University

Quynh Nguyen is currently a fourth year PhD student at Saarland University, advised by Professor Matthias Hein. He obtained his MSc degree in computer science from the same university through the support of the International Max-Planck Research School for Computer Science in Saarbruecken. His main research interests are in machine learning and optimization. His recent work focuses on understanding the optimization landscape of deep neural networks.
