Pietro Caputo

Pietro Caputo is an Italian mathematician and full professor at the Department of Mathematics and Physics, Università Roma Tre in Rome. His research focuses on probability theory and statistical physics, including topics such as spin systems and Gibbs measures, random media, and mixing times for Markov processes. He has held several visiting positions abroad, including at the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) (USA), and was a Miller Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley (USA).
