Dr. Peter Kuchment: Primary areas: diff. equations, math physics, spectral theory, graphs, medical imaging, material science, epidemiology, enhancement of K-12 math education. Publications: numerous research papers, four research books (+ one in print at Cambridge Univ. Press, 3 in preparation), 12 edited. Advising: 21 PhD, many masters. Organized: summer math camp for advanced school students at Texas A&M and an outreach math school at Wichita State University in Kansas. Presentations: numerous invited, plenary, and keynote lectures around the world; 16 series (4 - 10) of lectures. Prestigious named visiting positions at Newton Math Institute, Cambridge, UK and Munich, Germany. CBMS-NSF lecturer. Fellow of 5 internat. math, physics, and AI societies. Senior Member of IEEE. Organized many conferences, including semester programs at Newton Institute and MSRI.
