Norbert Schuch

Professor, University of Vienna

Norbert Schuch is a professor of mathematics and physics at the University of Vienna. His research interests are at the interface between quantum information theory and quantum many-body physics. On the one hand, he applies concepts from quantum information, and in particular entanglement theory, to study the physics of quantum many-body systems, both analytically and numerically. On the other hand, he studies the ramifications of quantum many-body problems on questions in quantum computation and quantum complexity theory.
