Nike Sun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at UC Berkeley. Before joining the Berkeley faculty in January 2016, she was a Schramm postdoctoral fellow at Microsoft Research and MIT. She received her PhD in 2014 from the Stanford Statistics Department, under the supervision of Amir Dembo. She holds a BA in mathematics from Harvard University, and completed Maths Part III at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests are in probability theory and statistical physics.
