Navid Ardeshir is a PhD student at Statistics department at Columbia University, advised by Daniel Hsu and Arian Maleki. Before Columbia, he received his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. He is interested in statistical learning theory, in particular, understanding generalization behavior of overparameterized models.
