Monica Golumbeanu is a graduate student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, Switzerland, supervised by Niko Beerenwinkel. Her research interests focus on statistical modeling of omics data for characterizing the dynamics of cellular response to HIV infection at the population and single-cell levels. Golumbeanu is also designing and developing computational methods for analyzing high-throughput sequencing data. Previously, she received a Masters degree in Computational and Systems Biology from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and the Aalto University in Helsinki. Golumbeanu also holds a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in Lyon.
