Mobin is a PhD student in Operations Research at Stanford University, advised by Irene Lo.
His research focuses on welfare and revenue maximization in two-sided platforms. More specifically, he is passionate about using matching theory to aid in the provision of equitable educational opportunities. He also studies the assignment systems used by public school districts to assign students to schools. In his work, he uses ideas from operations research and computer science to design and analyze policies, achieving the most efficient outcome.
