Maxim van den Berg
Graduate Student,
Ruhr University Bochum
Maxim van den Berg is a second year PhD student at the the University of Amsterdam and Ruhr-University Bochum, under the supervision of Jeroen Zuiddam and Michael Walter. He is also a member of QuSoft, the Dutch research center for quantum software.
His research lies at the intersection of algebraic/geometric complexity theory and quantum information theory, in particular the study of the complexity of matrix multiplication and multipartite entanglement, using tools from representation theory and geometry.
