Kevin Schewior

Kevin Schewior is a tenure-track assistant professor of Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Cologne. He is also an associate professor (on leave) at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Denmark. He is interested in the design and analysis of algorithms for combinatorial optimization problems, such as scheduling problems, in particular under uncertainty of different kinds. He received his PhD from TU Berlin in 2016 and has done joint postdocs between MPII Saarbrücken and Universidad de Chile as well as ENS Paris and TU München. He has won a dissertation award from GOR (German Operations Research Society) and awards for his papers at EC 2019 and IJCAI 2022.
