Johannes Kirschner

Johannes Kirschner is a postdoctoral fellow with Csaba Szepesvari. He is supported by an Early Postdoc Mobility fellowship from the Swiss National Foundation. Before joining the University of Alberta, Johannes obtained his PhD with Andreas Krause at ETH Zurich. His research focuses on understanding exploration-exploitation and planning in adaptive decision making under uncertainty. His work emphasizes rigorous theoretical understanding as well as transferring knowledge to practitioners and applications.
