Jingwei Li

Jingwei Li is a third-year Ph.D. student in the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) department at Columbia University, supported by the Presidential Fellowship, and advised by Clifford Stein. Prior to Columbia, Jingwei earned a B.A. with honors in Mathematics from Northwestern University where she was advised by Bryna Kra, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Northwestern University where she was advised by Samir Khuller. During her undergraduate studies, she received the Robert R. Welland Prize for outstanding achievement in mathematics. Her research interests lie in the design and analysis of algorithms, especially those for combinatorial optimization, online algorithms, distributed systems, and learning-augmented settings.
