Jacopo Graldi is a first-year PhD student at the University of Zurich, working with Prof. Anastasia Koloskova. His research focuses on developing a scientific understanding of neural networks at the intersection of theory and engineering practice.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zurich, where he specialized in Machine Learning and Signal Processing. During his studies, Jacopo collaborated extensively with the Data Analytics Lab at ETH Zurich, led by Prof. Thomas Hofmann, contributing to research on transformer model merging as well as the role of scale and training regimes in continual learning.
