Graduate Student,
Tel Aviv University

Itay Cohen is a computer scientist and mathematician at Tel Aviv University working in theoretical computer science. His research focuses primarily on spectral graph theory, derandomization, error-correcting codes (classical and quantum), and high-dimensional expanders. He studies the interplay between algebraic, combinatorial, spectral, and analytic methods in the design and analysis of explicit constructions, with an emphasis on pseudorandomness and expansion phenomena.

He received his BSc from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is pursuing his doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Gil Cohen.
