Inga Valentiner-Branth is currently a doctoral researcher at Ghent University under the supervision of Tom De Medts. Her work is focussed on the construction of high-dimensional expanders using Kac-Moody-Steinberg groups. This involves studying buildings, in particular their opposite complexes, simplicial (co)homology theory as well as various aspects of group theory, geometry and combinatorics.
