Hu Ding

Assistant Professor, Michigan State University

Hu Ding is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State, and a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He received his Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Sun Yat-Sen (Zhong Shan) University in Jun 2009. His research centers around designing efficient geometric algorithms for large-scale and high-dimensional problems. His research emphasizes both theoretical developments and their applications in the real world. He has published a number of papers in top conferences and journals, including SODA, NIPS, AAAI, CVPR, and PLoS Computational Biology.
