Helen Xu

Helen Xu is an assistant professor at Georgia Tech in the School of Computational Science and Engineering. Previously, she was the Grace Hopper Postdoctoral Fellow in Computing Sciences at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where she was hosted by Dr. Aydin Buluc. Before that, she graduated with her Ph.D. in Computer Science from MIT, where she was advised by Prof. Charles E. Leiserson. Her thesis was on “The Locality-First Strategy for Developing Efficient Multicore Algorithms.”
