Dr. Han Zhao is an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He got his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. Before that, he received his MMath from the University of Waterloo and his bachelor degree from Tsinghua University. He has a broad interest in trustworthy machine learning, including robust generalization, algorithmic fairness, and model interpretability.
