Gregory Barber is an award-winning science and technology journalist based in San Francisco. A former staff writer and editor at Wired, he now writes regularly for publications including The New York Times, Quanta Magazine, and MIT Technology Review on subjects ranging from new theories in math and computer science to controversies in land conservation. He also teaches journalism at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, and his recent work has been supported by a McGraw Fellowship at CUNY’s Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and the Fund for Investigative Journalism.
