Gal Yona is a PhD student in the Computer Science department at the Weizmann Institute of Science, advised by Guy Rothblum. Gal is broadly interested in machine learning, with a focus on the theoretical aspects concerning questions of algorithmic fairness, accountability, interpretability and data privacy. She previously obtained her MSc from Weizmann and BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
