Dan Coster

Dan Coster is a PhD student in Computer Science and a medical student at Tel Aviv University. During his MSc thesis, he worked under the supervision of Ron Shamir. His primary research focus is on developing methods for computational personalized medicine, using statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze electronic health records. His current research aims to develop methods for adjusting for different effects in EMR data as well as methods for predicting survival by analyzing time-varying covariates. Currently, his main clinical interests are in the area of cancer risk prediction on healthy populations, infectious diseases, antibiotic resistance, and covid-19.
