Da Li is a research scientist manager at Facebook Open Research and Transparency team. Currently, he is leading the engineering effort to enable credible and legitimate external research on Facebook. Prior to this, he was on the Core Ads group at Facebook, focused on building privacy-safe ads product, system, and infrastructure. Before Facebook, he worked at NEC Labs America, AT&T Labs, and Sony US Research Center. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia. His research interests include parallel computing, privacy, and security.
