Chia-Ying Lin is a PhD student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Rice University, advised by Nai-Hui Chia. She is broadly interested in quantum algorithms and quantum learning, with a particular focus on leveraging structural properties, such as locality and low entanglement, to improve the sample and circuit efficiency of learning quantum states.
