Research Scientist, UC Berkeley / NASA Ames
O'Gorman is researching the computational power of quantum annealing, both theoretical and experimental. His focus is on developing methods for using quantum computing to solve real problems, ranging from general methods for the compilation of problems, to hardware using embedding and gadgetry, and characterizing the performance of existing hardware.
