Boris Hanin

Professor, Texas A&M

Boris Hanin is a mathematician working on the theory of deep learning and mathematical physics. He received his BS in math from Stanford in 2009, and his PhD in math from Northwestern in 2014. Before joining the math faculty at Texas A&M in 2017, Boris was a NSF Postdoctoral Fellow in the math department at MIT. For the first half of 2019 he was a visiting scientist at Facebook AI Research.
