Beyrem Khalfaoui

Beyrem Khalfaoui is a PhD student in the Computational Biology department at MINES ParisTech. His PhD program is also in partnership with Institut Curie (medical and biological cancer research center) and INSERM (French Institute of Health and Medical Research) within the Bioinformatics Research unit directed by Emmanuel Barillot at Institut Curie. Khalfaoui works within the Statistical Machine Learning and Modeling of Biological Systems group directed by Jean-Philippe Vert. He is supervised by Jean-Philippe Vert and works on adapting statistical learning methods to cancer genomics, with a focus on model stability and randomized regularization techniques such as noise injection.
