Arnab Bhattacharyya is an assistant professor and Ramanujan Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the Indian Institute of Science. His research area is theoretical computer science, in a broad sense. More specifically, he is interested in algorithms for Big Data, extremal combinatorics and analysis on finite fields, computational complexity, and algorithmic models for natural systems. He obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees and PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
